This is as official looking as this can get. I did some rendering over on top of the digital painting/box design to make it look more aged like it's been sitting in the same spot on a rental shelf for over 2 decades. As an estimation, it took about 90+ hours to do the entire thing; around a week and a half of effort total was the approximate turnaround.
OMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG DO THE BACK PLZ AND IL PRINT IT!
What's funny is that he subtly made an influence in this. My main sources for ideas on how to develop this 80s Americanized Dr. Wily was taken from quite a few different villains and other things:
Count Dracula Dr. Doom Dr. Myuu/Baby cyberpunk/cyborgs
But yeah, this Dr. Wily is so sinister that I find it hard that I even painted this super-evil being, let alone the entire thing.
Thanks man. But as far as Retron goes, I guess you can say I just fused the word Retro and Tron together, thus Retron was made. It sounds mechanically futuristic enough that it sounds like a word, kinda.
Count Dracula
Dr. Doom
Dr. Myuu/Baby
cyberpunk/cyborgs

(and I STILL have no idea what a retron is!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
